「 bouncing away 11:52 AM 」

it's quarter to noon and i'm in pajamas; boy am i gonna miss the holidays.. school starts on thursday! :( at least the first week looks quite good, one hour on thurs, two on friday and monday, and one on tuesday again. but then the torture starts! all my mondays after are 9 to 5, ugh can die. but i'm quite happy that all my fridays are only 9-10 and 12-1. practically a day off (which they might actually become if i'm feeling lazy)! makes it so much easier to travel in the weekends too, barcelona here i come :)

i think i should stop attemping to clean my room. on sunday night i mustered all the willpower i could and did all the dishes, folded the clothes, arranged the chairs and everything, and today, a mere 40 hours later, i'm right back where i started! there's just something wrong with my room i tell you, it attracts mess. i should be cleaning right now, hence this blog entry. and so the procrastination begins..

「 bouncing away 9:43 AM 」

thanks yvette! you rock! for that i'll try to update somewhat regularly :)

you know how people talk about how you never know someone until you marry them? i get it now. deep breaths now, i haven't actually married anyone.. had dinner with my college family last night, and the seemingly quiet and compliant college husband (see?) chinese ben turned out to be quite the opposite! he de
cided what we were gonna cook, invited other chinese friends over (felt quite sorry for our english kid!) and refused to let me into the kitchen! :( the last was probably better considering the state in which they left the kitchen, but still, i was really looking forward to cooking! conversation was a bit stuttering, a large part due to my inability to understand their accents- one of them was talking about the police station and i thought they wanted to play play-station, another one asked for salt and i wondered why he wanted to put socks in his food! ironically our english kid seemed to understand them pretty well so she helped translate :) on the upside, the food was absolutely fantastic. one of ben's friends was a part-time chef, so we were eating real gourmet food. 5 courses, no less.

i'm sounding more critical than i mean to, they were all actually pretty nice people, chinese ben included, and i had an interesting time, just wasn't what i was prepared for. still, i would like to be able to be critical of actually pretty not nice people on my blog (certain stalkers come to mind), so you guys have any idea how to password protect? can someone help me do it?

dunk, g'luck for your exams starting tmr! kick ass. and buy colourful bouncy squigs! nunk, i dunno when you start, but good luck too! yvette, i'm under the impression you don't have exams, so..um.. you have lots of time to email me? :)
